I love this place! Keep in mind, this is a small town, so don't expect a what you might get in a higher end restaurant in a larger city. But, for a small town place, this is as good as I've been. The food is wonderful and I've always had great service. This is our go-to place when we want to treat ourselves. One of the best things about living in Fergus Falls!

Back for the third time. The place was packed. Eight in our party. The Carbonara Filet was very good with the cream cheese mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. The Wine List is adequate and the wine prices more than reasonable. Still a solid four stars.

My wife and I had dinner for Valentines Day. We had advance reservations. We started off a bit on the wrong foot as we were seated in what was the worst table in the establishment. It was the closest table to the rear door. The problem is in the dead of winter with folks coming and going out the back door the zero degree breeze left something to be desired. We did ask to be reseated as there were 5 or 6 open tables. We were politely declined and told the restaurant was booked, even though several of the empty tables never were occupied during our 70 minute stay. Enough of that. My wife started with a flight of red wines. I had a Summit EPA. For $7.00 (might have been $7.50), the wines were a bargain and were good. I found the beer selection a bit thin. You will not get an IPA here. We each started with a house salad. Both were very good and freshly prepared. I had the halibut with mushroom risotto. It was excellent, and some of the best Ive had. I would highly recommend it. My wife had the surf & turf. A 5oz. sirloin & shrimp with mashed potatoes. My wife felt the char on the steak was too heavy for her liking. It was heavier than normal, but it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The shrimp were a bit disappointing, frozen & deep fried. The potatoes were good. As a result of the seating issue we were comped out wine & beer (about $12). I'd of rather not of been comped and been able to take one of the empty tables. I would rate our experience two ways. In the dead of winter it is a mistake to put that last table where ours was without some sort of thermal break. Even one of the other customers commented to us "what did you two do to get THIS table?" Besides, everyone entering from the back has to walk through the entire restaurant just to check in by the front door. Total price was $48.00 but would have been $60 plus tip if we hadnt been comped on drinks. For the food, I would rate it a 4 overall. For the experience, a 2. Overall it gets a 3.

Great food and service it's always nice to find hidden gems. Good variety on wine list. Not super big but very sufficient. It appeared that most items are house made.

Delicious food. I really enjoyed the cozy environment. It was small but not so much so that its easy to overhear every other table's conversations. The food was wonderful, haven't found a dish I didn't enjoy yet. Great for a date night or out with the girls or even a business meeting. One of my favorite places in town!

We've been several times and are always happy with the food and drinks. Hubby's favorite is the Osso Buco and that never disappoints. I've had several different dishes and so far haven't found one I didn't like. My son had the Lobster Mac & Cheese the last time we were there (September 5, 2014) and he really liked that as well.

Impressive wine list, big menu. This was a great find in fergus falls. We had a great meal with good service. Maybe a little rushed, but delicious. Cannelloni was superb and pesto rigatoni and fettuccini Alfredo Were good too. Prices were not bad. We will be back!

The name continues to bother me beause it SHOULD be "Bella"--however, I'll continue to dine here! I've had an even number of experiences that were outstanding versus just okay. I'll play the odds! This place is in a good location for Fergus Falls: downtown, with ample street parking, and though I have mostly been in for lunch, I doubt it gets wildly busy. The menu changes regularly, which I like, although my favorite two entrees both disappeared from the menu the next time I visited. A great place to meet up with friends for lunch, dinner, or a bottle of wine. I'd recommend Bello Cucina, though did I mention that the name drives me crazy? Please stay open!

Being in town for work and looking for a local place to grab dinner, we stumbled on Bello Cucina. What a good find! The menu was so large I had trouble deciding between about five things. The wine list was much better than expected for a town this size. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. The food was great with giant portions for the price (I'll easily get another meal from the leftovers). I knocked my review down a star due to the somewhat awkward hostess/"bartender". One of my dining partners ordered a mojito. When it was delivered to the table, she paused a little uncomfortably and said "ummmm....let me know if that's missing something." Um, what??? He said it tasted fine. She later admitted she had never made one before and wasn't quite sure how to. Hopefully she gets some training both in bartending and in not admitting things like this to customers! Overall, a very pleasant experience. I'd definitely return!

I was told that Bello is correct, if the chef is male. I think this is the best place in town to take company, have a drink, selection of wine/beer & consider it reasonably priced. Service can be questionable. I tend to not order pasta and have not been disappointed with seafood dishes. I resent the snarky comments that suggest small town food requires low expectations. We eat well in Fergus Falls and Bello Is at the top of our list, Lunch & dinner.

As far as dining in Fergus Falls this is probably your best bet for the best food. Even though the setting is above casual don't expect the moon this is just a small town with the kind of staff you would find in almost any restaurant. Except more pleasant. Especially the blonde waitress with the short curly hair her name escapes me at the moment. The mixed drinks are top notch and cheaper than you will find at any chain restaurant. They have a wide variety of wine more than any other place in town and the food was something that you would find in a four star restaurant. It was very rich perfect sized portions and cooked perfectly. The price is expensive for the town but for the kind of ingredients and preparation more than reasonable. This is a very good find for the folks of Fergus and I hope they will appreciate it and support the local business. Just like any business the more you get from the community the more you can do with everything else. Especially in such a small town where businesses come and go. I hope this one sticks around for the long haul as it is would grow and age like wine better with time. I look forward to returning.

What a disappointment for our Anniversary.. I've been here before and while I do enjoy the food - this time the service was SLOW and POOR. We were seated and we had to ask a different server to even get some water - let alone menus or anything else. Our server did not know anything about opening a bottle of wine, and even had to go back to get another one. I noticed someone else commented on this - and I agree - why weren't we told ahead of time that we would be charged automatic 20% for the tip???? The server wasn't worth it - and we were only a party of two!!!! Sad to say - despite the food and wine (which were good) - this experience left a poor taste in my mouth.

If you can only eat in Fergus Falls three times, this definitely should be one of your stops. I agree with other yelpers regarding the name. They really should correct it. However, the food makes up for this grammatical error. The menu is extensive and the food is consistently very good.

Surprisingly delicious Italian food for west-central Minnesota. The ambiance is nice and cozy, perfect for a date night or celebration. Also, here's an answer for those confused by the name: I think there's another restaurant with the name "Bella Cucina" in Minnesota and they didn't want to get into trouble. Ignore the bad grammar and give the food a try. :)

Love this place! Best food in Fergus Falls. Hard to believe the low prices and quality. The servings aren't huge--they are perfect. Their menu changes frequently. I haven't tried anything here I didn't like.

Received poor service and food was far lower quality than it should have been for the price. I can find better in the freezer aisle at Wal Mart. Ripoff.

Great food with a nice atmosphere! Staff is always real friendly. Food is a little over priced for portion size.

Great ambiance. Great food! Not a fast food restaurant, so be prepared to relax and enjoy your dining experience. Great wine selection and pastas!

  • Anitra V.

I have been here several times. The service was S L O W! For this area, this is probably the best Italian you'll find. It would not stand up in a bigger city where there is competition, but here, it passes for 'good'.

  • Christopher J.

to the point of asking...no, they do not have limoncello. I had the pasta pre race for the fargo marathon. food was well prepared everything and service was pretty good. I'd recommend the place for anyone in the Falls. Why didn't this place get a 4 start if i'd recommend it. one, it's in the falls and competition is light. it's not going to stack up against say a NYC restaurant and I don't grade on a curve, it's based on food and service...not location or cost. second, there's always little things that bug me, and Bello Cucina does. a masculine adj (bello) does not belong with a femine noun (Cucina). Second, I want to have Prosciutto and a cappucino, and a limoncello, and prosecco. That's italian. you take those away, I take away a star. But, for a where, when, over all experience...the place is solid and they'll take care of you.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
